V-Turn 26

The high powered spindle motor makes light work of the hardest of jobs, slicing through steel without hesitation. Be sure to enhance your productivity with this award winning lathe that has proven itself in the field. Available in 2 bed lengths with fully programmable tailstock and built-in quill bearings that make little of the largest of jobs.

Because of the popularity of this machine, the Vturn-26 machine has been customized to facilitate a wide range of machining operations and that is why the Vturn-26/60 and Vturn26/110 have been developed.

Programmable Tailstock

All Vturn machines come standard with a programmable tailstock. This tailstock is mounted on it's own slideways for maximum clamping stability. It's movement uses the shot bolt method and clamps to the bed hydraulically. The live tailstock uses larger bearings see illustration than that of a dead tailsock which gives increased life and improved load bearing characteristics.  As centers get damaged it is more convenient and cheaper for the customer to replace a dead center rather than a live one.
